Booking & Reservation

QuayRest.com is an owner-occupied bed and breakfast.

Guest reservations can be made in advance directly through QuayRest.com, by telephoning on +353 838 082245 or through one of our online partners, like Booking dot com.

QuayRest.com requires that all reservations be secured with a valid credit/debit card.  Where credit card validation fails we'll let you know so an alternative card can be provided, or that your reservation has been cancelled.

QuayRest.com does not invite or accept "doorstep reservations".

 

Check-in and Check-out

There is no self check-in at QuayRest.com.  All guests' names must be notified in advance, and all named guests must be present at the time of check-in.

Check-in is strictly between 4pm and 6pm, unless agreed otherwise.  We will charge you €25 if you arrive late, or later than the alternative time agreed.  A simple courtesy call is expected if you are running late, and may avoid the late charge or your room being cancelled.

You are welcome to check in earlier (charges may apply) and use our guest lounge, or leave your luggage.

B&B rooms must be vacated by 11am on the day of your departure.  You are able to leave your luggage to pick up later in the day, but this needs to be arranged with us at time of check-in.

For the safety and security of all at QuayRest, guests must not  permit anyone else to access the property, including anyone known to them who has not checked in, or is not part of their group.  If you do so your booking will be cancelled, and you will be asked to leave.

Cancellation Policy 

In the event of a no-show or cancellation within 7 days of arrival, 100% of the reservation period will be charged. Similarly, you will be charged for the full cost of the reservation period if you need to depart/leave/check-out or earlier than scheduled for whatever reason..

We cannot take responsibility for loss caused by factors which are out of our control, such as disruption to timetables and ferry/flight cancellations.

Payment

We accept  Euro cash or credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Solo, American Express)

100% of your reservation will be charged to your credit card automatically up to 7 days prior to your arrival.  For extras, like breakfast club bookings, Quay Rest accepts Euro cash or credit card payments.

QuayRest.com requires a €200 refundable security deposit for Holiday Apartment lettings.  The security deposit will be returned to you within two weeks, in full, or minus the costs of any damage to the property.

QuayRest.com is at liberty to take a deposit or levy to cover loss of keys, damage to property or additional laundry/cleaning costs, should this be necessary.

Eating

Guests are welcome to eat meals/snacks and takeaways in the guest lounge.

QuayRest.com's Breakfast Club welcomes reservations from apartment guests and B&B guests' friends.  Breakfast is served between 8-10am at Quay Rest B&B.

We'll always try our best to cater for diverse dietary requirements, if you tell us in advance.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted anywhere on our premises.

For any breach of this regulation, in either in your rooms or other common area, we reserve the right to ask you to vacate and leave the premises.  In such circumstances no refunds or cash alternatives will be made for any period of your booking.  We may also call for Guarda assistance if required to enforce this policy.

Damages

You must report any damage caused to property immediately.  You will be responsible for the cost of repair or replacement of any breakages, loss or damage to the property & furnishings, and will have to pay before departure or we reserve the right to charge this to your credit/debit card.

Low-alcohol Policy

QuayRest.com is not a licensed premises and hence do not allow for the sale of alcohol on our premises.  We are only able to condone light/moderate drinking within your rooms. We reserve the right to ask you to vacate and leave the premises if we deem it necessary with no refunds or cash alternatives for any period of your booking. We may also call for Guarda assistance if required.

The property offers a quiet, civilised atmosphere and this must be appreciated by our quests at all times.  Guests are also requested to keep noise to a minimum after 10 pm.

Guest Responsibility

Cars are parked at your own risk. Make sure all doors are locked and valuables removed from display.

No responsibility is accepted by QuayRest.com for any loss, damage or injury to person or property.
